Committees
Endowment Committee
The Endowment Committee oversees the various endowment funds and awards scholarship and grants each year based on the guidelines and criteria of the funds.
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee meets once a month to review income, expenditures and financial reports; advise staff on fiscal procedures; investigate proposed major expenditures; and make recommendations to the Council.
Personnel Committee
The Personnel Committee's mission is to oversee the recruitment, retention and evaluation of the paid staff of Church of Our Saviour. Tasks include assessing staffing needs, recruitment, determining compensation, and evaluating performance.
Property Committee
The primary mission of the Property Committee is to be watchful and observant of the church buildings and grounds, and to keep them well-maintained within the limits of our annual budget. Our custodians function under the direction of this committee along with senior staff. The committee relies on and appreciates the many volunteers who help maintain our property, including yard work, cleaning, and many other tasks.
Worship and Music Committee
Worship is the center of the life of Church of Our Saviour. The Worship and Music Committee facilitates congregational participation in worship that is faithful to the spirit of the Lutheran traditions and liturgical practices. The committee oversees the contributions of musicians and worship assistants. The committee works with and supports the pastor and the music ministry staff to strive for meaningful worship experiences which welcome all people to glorify, celebrate, discover and share the love of Christ.
