Worship Formats

The traditional service at 8:00 a.m. utilizes both the Lutheran Book of Worship (LBW) and the more-recent With One Voice (WOV). The 10:30 a.m. blended service also uses LBW and WOV, with a Praise Team adding the prelude, offertory, communion and postlude music. Every worship service includes the Eucharist (Holy Communion).
Worship Leaders
Lay leadership in worship is strong at Our Saviour's, including lay ministers and readers, communion assistants, ushers, acolytes and a praise band team that provides some of the music during blended worship. Scheduling of volunteers is done on a month-by-month basis, based on the commitments made during the annual stewardship appeal. New volunteers are always welcome - contact the church office for details.
