First Communion

First Communion usually takes place at the 5th grade level. The fifth graders have one meeting with Pastor and their parents, one meeting with Pastor alone, and then they make the bread with Pastor for their first communion. At their first communion they receive a special gift made by some of our members or confirmation students to welcome them to our Lord's Table. If you feel your child is ready for their first communion before the fifth grade, please talk to Pastor.
