Because of this design, the reader is able to understand how events of the world around us affected our church and, in many cases, put our faith to the test. However, most important to this story are the first-hand personal accounts about the people and events that surfaced during those eras.
Chapter 6 covers the two years of major changes that occurred during this book' production following our 75th anniversary. The 7th chapter that follows focuses on the future as parishioners share a few thoughts about what they would like to see in Church of Our Saviour's future. And the final chapter is a helpful timeline reference of historical events of the church, Fond du Lac County as well as the Nation and World.
This is a must-read book for anyone who has at one time or another called Church of Our Saviour in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin'home'. For anyone who appreciates history, the book is filled with many interesting stories that tie into national and international events. But more than that, it reads like a family scrapbook.
