Home > Service > Befrienders Ministry
The Befriender Ministry was introduced to Our Saviour's in 2001, and the first group of Befrienders was commissioned and assigned to parish ministry in Spring, 2003. Befrienders are lay persons who are trained over a period of 16 weeks to minister in a personal way to those within our congregation who are experiencing difficulties of any kind. Befrienders visit the elderly, bring communion to our shut-ins, and assist with various one-on-one ministries as assigned by the pastor.
